No real impediment to pursuing a new idea in corporate. Generally supportive upper management. Decent benefits. Solid and authentic community involvement. Growing cultural scene in St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay.
Desventajas
St. Petersburg is still a small scene with limited cultural options (it can't escape being in Florida). Diverse divisions still trying to find synergies that explain why they coexist. International efforts never have adequate resources, overloading the handful of capable individuals making it happen. Top IT leadership average efficacy is middling at best, miserable at worst. Generally 15 - 20 years behind technologically implementing global solutions.
