Ventajas

Pay is great. Company really takes time out to show their employees appreciation. I never felt as thought I was overworked without being compensated for it, whether it be with VTO, gift cards, catered food etc. They always made sure we were happy.

Desventajas

Attendance policy when I was there. Along with the fact that if you need to take maternity leave they'll make you use up your vacation days first, leaving you with no wiggle room once you get back. Aside from that. Great company, wish I could've stayed.

Ventajas

it was a decent job that you can hold onto if you are someone who can do a hard sell.

Desventajas

the training was minimal and the company expected you to sell a policy of inferior insurance companies at higher prices. I'm not nearly pushy enough to tell someone they should drop state farm for Hartford and spend an extra $60 a month. They had us quoting policies for people in states that we weren't licensed in and then the manager (who is licensed in that state quickly glances over the policy and approves it). That sounds very sketchy to me. the sales leads you are given are in fact people who were looking to get a quote online. they type in their information looking to get a real quote and it spits out a number for them and they assume that was that. Instead we now have their information and call them as many times as 3 times a day trying to sell them a policy. Once we get them on the phone they have to "verify" some information, but in reality we are asking all the same questions that they already entered online. I can guarantee less than 5% of the sales leads are remotely interested in getting their insurance over the phone.
