I worked at FirstPoint Management Resources (FPMR) as an Account Manager and was initially optimistic about the company. However, my experience quickly revealed deep-seated issues that prospective employees should be aware of. FPMR routinely assigns struggling, high-maintenance clients to new hires without transparency about the risk. I was placed on two accounts that were already on the brink of termination before I started—essentially set up to fail. Despite this, I delivered high-quality work, received documented praise from leadership, and helped lead a successful national conference for one of the organization’s largest clients. Things changed immediately after I raised legitimate concerns about unequal pay (I was hired at a lower salary than a male peer with less relevant experience), supervisor favoritism (close friends hired and reporting to each other), and a lack of fair onboarding or consistent enforcement of company policy. Once I spoke up, the retaliation began: I was gaslit in meetings, stripped of access without warning, given a sudden negative performance review that contradicted months of praise, and ultimately terminated without cause. FPMR also misled clients about my departure, telling them I was “on leave for personal reasons” when I had been terminated. This behavior is not just unprofessional—it’s dishonest and unethical. There is no meaningful HR support, and leadership either enables or actively participates in this behavior. Transparency is nonexistent. Policies are selectively enforced. And if you question any of it, you’re labeled a problem. Pros: Some passionate clients who make the work meaningful Autonomy in client relationships (until it’s weaponized against you)

Desventajas

Leadership protects toxic behavior Rampant favoritism and conflicts of interest Pay inequity Retaliation for speaking up No real HR accountability Lack of training or support structure Client deception
