Ventajas

- Lakehouse vision is crystal clear and communicated frequently at every level - C-Suite are incredibly involved and working as hard (probably harder) as everyone else in the company - Great work life balance, C-Suite encourages this - RSA training program was amazing - Everyone pulls their weight - Great incentive and pay package - Clearly defined goals that get reiterated all the time. Everyone steering in the same direction.

Desventajas

- RSAs operate at the edges of the business. The role can make you feel distant from what's going on at HQ. - Product and support can be challenging to work with. Neither want to be talking to RSAs because they have too much going on. Be prepared to be on your own for the most part.

Ventajas

Great teams made up of smart, motivated people. Databricks is an exciting place to work because it is part of the growing data and AI tools space. The benefits and income are also good overall.

Desventajas

Databricks no longer feels like a startup. There are now multiple layers of bureaucracy, and leadership can feel territorial rather than collaborative. Over time, it can seem like business growth and internal politics have become stronger drivers than innovation or employee experience. For long-tenured employees, it may become harder to stay excited or feel challenged. Other companies may offer a more energizing environment.
