Tesla captures data using cameras, sensors, GPS, and vehicle telemetry systems. This data is processed onboard and, when permitted, sent to Tesla’s cloud platforms to improve autonomous driving algorithms, vehicle diagnostics, safety features, and software updates through machine learning and analytics.
