Throughout March, here at UCAS we’ll be celebrating International Women's Day 2024 and Women’s History Month. ♀️ To mark the occasion, we asked our people to nominate inspiring women they have worked with across UCAS who have aided this year’s theme of #inspireinclusion, and we will be sharing their profiles over the coming weeks. Our new CEO, Dr Jo Saxton has said: "I’m honoured to be celebrating the fantastic women we have working here at UCAS. 50% of our leadership team are women, and I’m so proud that we have role models in leadership positions across all aspects of our organisation including technology, digital, marketing, and sales. It is wonderful to recognise so many remarkable people who have played pivotal roles in UCAS’ progression and have continued to foster a sense of inclusion within both our internal and external community." First up is Kim Eccleston, Head of Strategy and Reform at UCAS. Kim joined us in 2020 as a Customer Adoption Lead, and since then has established herself as a compassionate leader who encourages collaborative discussions and has helped to make UCAS a more inclusive organisation. 👏

Today is Equal Consideration Deadline Day! 🗓️ This is a key date for students who are keen to have their application equally considered amongst all those received by universities. Thanks to our experienced call centre team and over 40 UCAS volunteers, we’ve been able to support applicants with their queries quickly to minimise wait times so the day runs smoothly. It’s a great opportunity for our colleagues to get involved and gain experience talking directly to students and customers first hand. #ECDday #volunteering #ucasunited
