⚾💙 Thank you, North Texas Amateur Baseball League! The NTABL, in partnership with the Frisco RoughRiders, hit it out of the park for Scottish Rite for Children during their American League, National League, and 35+ & 45+ All-Star Games at Riders Field in Frisco. This year marked the 13th time the NTABL has hosted an event benefiting our patients, raising incredible support — just like in 2024, when they donated more than $36,000 to our hospital. Four of our patients, Judson, Ford, Weston and Chloe had the opportunity to throw the first pitch at each of the games. Thank you, NTABL, for more than a decade of generosity, community spirit and heart! 🙌

In partnership with American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and ESSKA - European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy this global exchange brought leading minds to our Frisco campus to dive into the latest breakthroughs in sports medicine and orthopedic care. From surgical techniques to emerging trends, it was all about pushing the field forward — with a warm dose of Texas hospitality.

Standing room only at the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) Annual Meeting for a compelling presentation by Jacob Jones, M.D., RMSK. Dr. Jones shared new findings demonstrating early changes in elbow cartilage among young, healthy gymnasts using ultrasound. This research may support earlier detection of elbow conditions, allowing for timely interventions and potentially reducing time away from sport. It was a notable moment at one of the most respected conferences in the field and reinforces Dr. Jones’ role as a global leader in pediatric sports medicine imaging and research. Also representing Scottish Rite for Children were Philip Wilson, M.D., and Henry Ellis, M.D., who each presented original research and led instructional course lectures, further contributing to the advancement of pediatric sports medicine. Conferences like @aossm1972 help keep our team at the forefront of evidence-based, innovative care to support the health and performance of young athletes.
