Objetivo: Making city life easier and smarter.
Our platform connects people with possibilities. From customers and couriers to SMEs and iconic brands, our mission is to make city life easier and smarter. We’re going beyond being just another delivery app; we want to become the everything app.
We’re doing this by building a global community of optimists who don’t want to reinvent the wheel, they want to break it. We believe in Leading the way - do you?
Glovo is a world leader in the on-demand space. Our engineering team builds industry-leading user app experiences, logistics algorithms, and deep partner integrations on a massive scale.
We develop six different mobile applications, two tablet applications and various web apps.
We’re geeks, we’re engineers, we’re driven.
Our Tech team is divided into 9 different teams across the following areas: Growth and B2B, Content and Partners, Dispatching, Courier Experience, Design, Platform, Customer Experience, Customer Solutions, Payments and Fraud.
Each team has different technology stack and we're constantly finding new ways and new technologies to give the best experience to our customers.
See here for more details.
Diversity & Inclusion
At Glovo we believe that diversity adds incredible value to our teams, our products, and our culture.
We know that the best ideas and solutions come by bringing together people from all over the world and by fostering a culture of inclusion where everyone feels heard and has the chance to make a real impact. It's because of this that we are committed to providing equal opportunities to talent from all backgrounds.
There are more than 1,200 of us now, but we’re still tiny and growing. We understand that in order to make fast and smart decisions we need to have a strong culture and be completely in alignment.
Our values represent the way we see our business, want to act, and impact the world.
Stay humble: We all roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty. We understand we don’t know everything. We’re open to feedback.
Gas: We consider all opportunities and we take risks because we’re very ambitious. We want to get where we’re going fast.
Care: We are user-centered and global citizens. We consider all parties in everything: couriers, customers, and partners and we exercise social responsibility.
Glownership: We hire owners, people that want to have big responsibility and build stuff. Caring about Glovo comes first. Think company-wide, not just what’s best for you or your team. Go beyond your role and help before you’re asked.
Good vibes: We want to have fun. Positive energy and attitude is key. As*holes or as*hole attitudes aren’t allowed. The path is very tough, so we want optimistic and easy-going people
Thinking Big includes thinking globally.
Not just in terms of becoming a global leader, but knowing that the talent we need isn’t just on our doorstep; they could be anywhere in the world. So we scour the globe to find people who love what they do.
We currently have 22 offices across Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa - and we’re still growing.

First interview: HR and basic concepts. They asked about previous experiences, if l knew Glovo and filled in the details, my salary expectations, we talked about visa sponsorship, some questions about software development concepts. It was all talked. It was a nice interview.
Second one: Technical Screen. It was an hour and a half of talking about development topics. They gave you a list of topics from where to study. They mentioned that not all of the topics asked were on the list, and that was true.
Third one: Coding challenge: It was a two-hour codility challenge. Two exercises.
As coding challenges go, It was from medium to hard. I got as far as here.
They mentioned that there were three more interviews, Systems and Architectural design, pair programming, and Vision on the company. These last three would have only taken one day.
Fourth one: Feedback: They gave me information about everything that went right or wrong on the process and mentioned that I had to wait at least six months for trying again.
We coordinate all meetings according to both side's schedules, and the interviewers were friendly and open. It was a very nice experience. They also mentioned that the process was possibly going to change.
