    There are lots of people who are pleasant to be around. I was lucky enough to got to work with some exceptionally intelligent and bright individuals.
    The management’s always striving to be open and transparent - the CEO and business continuity team did an excellent job during the lockdown. I was never afraid of being open and was able to focus on solving the problem instead of finding excuses.
    Some might say there’s company politics at play (like all other places), but no bureaucracy. The leadership team are approachable and supportive and I enjoyed being able to keep pragmatic working style.
    There are opportunities to make career transitions internally if you’re proactive and willing to learn.
    Good support in terms of well-being.


    Concentra is so close to see overwhelmingly fast growth - it has clear vision and really good talent who can achieve that. It has been growing, but I always felt that it somehow never really fully utilised what it’s got and doesn’t scale fast enough. It may be the leadership or may be the operational excellency, or needs to be more bold and informed in decision-making. It feels like there are a few missing gears in the chain of process and some are misplaced.
    In a similar vein, on a cultural side, despite the efforts, it didn’t seem to fully grasp what makes diversity in workplace. It celebrates one thing while ignoring the other (e.g. my inbox was mixed with sales comms full of very masculine analogy and lovely pride month newsletters). However, I appreciate that it’s a journey and I wholeheartedly know that Concentra care diversity and inclusion.
    Not so much of cons.. but just flagging as it seems not a very well recognised fact (as a reason for moving on) within the firm - You would need to have some passion in the domain (i.e. org design and HR tech in general) to keep motivated and take a leading role in the firm.

    Find missing gears and get rid of wrong ones. Be more lean. Need to figure out how to unlock the potential through even better product, leadership, operation and culture (hint: culture is not something that you can ‘define’. it emerges).
    Perhaps need to be a more sharp in positioning - can you attract talent in tech while maintaining consulting legacy? It’s a tough deal (I worked long enough to get the reasoning behind the current strategy but..)
    Every single member of the senior leadership needs to be exceptionally good.
    Invest more to make every individual great at what they are doing including line management.

    Three interviews over the space of the week. It all seemed fairly standard. However I never heard back after completing the interview process which I believe was unprofessional as I had passed the initial screening.
