Ventajas
Es una empresa que lleva corto tiempo en México, están creciendo aceleradamente y la cultura laboral de Zendesk es colaborativa. Excelentes beneficios y cuidan mucho a sus empleados.
Desventajas
Por el momento no encuentro desventajas.
Consejos para la Dirección
Hay que cambiar la idea de jefe-subordinado. Algunas personas que vienen de ambientes laborales godinez les cuesta trabajo adaptarse a la cultura colaborativa y en lugar de ver que todos somos iguales pero con diferentes funciones, tienen en la cabeza puestos altos para subordinar a los demás, eso es muy mexicano y no veo que se dé en otras oficinas de Zendesk.

Ventajas
Great on-boarding experience: This is the first two days on the job. You learn about the different departments and meet several people. You also get resources/opportunities that will help you make an impact on day one (you'll see). My manager was also very great at giving context about the team and the "big picture". It helps having a manager who has been here for several years, since there is a lot to learn - but... I've seen successful/happy teams where both the new hire and manager were hired around the same time. Lots of opportunity to grow/learn: There is a whole team dedicated to this! Professional development is a huge emphasis here and it shows. Great culture: Slack is huge at this company, and very active. There are also cool clubs that can be joined for internal employees . Also, happy hours every week and lots of opportunities to network and have fun!

Ventajas
I worked in the Nordics team in the London office in 2018. At the time we had some really good benefits like free food and snacks in the kitchen, stock options, and overall a very cool office. It's also worth to mention that the Zendesk platform itself is really good and when you check in with customers they seem very happy with the return on their investment.
Desventajas
For me personally, the only negatives were that I had 3 managers in 1.5 years.. as well as unexpected patch changes which resulted in eventual disengagement from my side. However, To be fair this is to be expected from a growing company, and although I decided to leave which was best for me at the time, I would still highly recommend the company to anyone considering joining.

Ventajas
A company that makes great efforts to integrate and give back to its community. “Be the company your customer wants you to be” had been a motto here for us and our customers. A long time leader in the customer support Gartner report.
Desventajas
I waited until I had been here at least a year as I’ve seen tech companies that evolve and change as they go through growth stages and growing pains. The Zendesk company I joined a year ago is very different than the current iteration of Zendesk. I was heavily recruited for a position that has of late been de-valued for no real reason or probably more likely they would like to see done by a younger cheaper resource.... Favoritisms is a real thing here and some managers have been known to favor their younger employees. On the other hand, the older seniors managers are generally former executives from org’s like Oracle, SAP, SFDC, some AWS etc that are bringing their companies ideas to Zendesk as they struggle to serve the Enterprise market. That is not Zendesk’s roots and the company is going through a painful identity crisis as a result. I heard an expression from a former executive that was readying a massive reorganization that said “everyone wants to go to Heaven but no one wants to die”. Yeah, right now it’s kinda like that. Some big changes are coming and it’s going to be interesting to see how the company emerges. Your mileage will definitely vary here at this time.

Commit to your vision whatever it may be. Going the Enterprise route can and will alienate some of your current customers so I hope your plan can be successful but it might be a bumpy road initially. Show some empathy for those impacted because right now you have managers that are behaving immaturely. You could loose some very talented people in the process. If you want attrition handle it so there are no ill... feelings.

Lots of growth, lots of opportunities and a great team to work with. From a data science and machine learning perspective, there are incredibly interesting data and the opportunity to have an impact on the product through building ML powered features.
