If you are uninterested in working around a salesy-salon atmosphere you won't get anywhere with this company. The operational side of the business isn’t even included in the "trifecta" (aka the new business moto). In contrast, operations demand the most amount of physical labor and general workload, intellect when it comes to software/process systems, overtime, accountability, etc. The job never stops. The merchandising manager position has also taken a backward step and now the company has redefined the role as a "lead tasking" associate. As the least paid manager in the store, Merchandising Managers are essentially operation managers who are relied upon to finish endless job expectations on one hand and to be a sales manager in the other. The task associates get paid less than the beauty advisors. Simply said, they do more work and need more common sense.
