Ventajas

No formalized time-off policy. Ability to work from home. Free water and soft drinks. No dress code to speak of

Desventajas

Often, the "Work harder, not smarter" adage comes to mind. Ever since the big lay-off in December a couple of years ago, it has been more work with fewer people and less money for the effort. TechTarget loves to hand out Titles in lieu of salary . Depending on which department you are in, you can be a Manager or Director within 2 or 3 years (regardless of age or ability). Lots of self important people with titles strutting around. Increased demand (from managers / directors) to work in the office despite the company's public declarations to the contrary. Like to tout the "50 Best Places to Work" and “Globe 100’s Top Places to Work" - They are constantly hounding employees to fill out those surveys. Reliance on outdated technologies and bad implementation of newer ones. Constant outages of internal applications and public facing websites.

Ventajas

Content managers are great to work with. Clear expectations, reasonable deadlines, and very helpful.

Desventajas

Some clients are flaky, which can make assignments stretch out over time.

Ventajas

Honestly, none since the merger.

Desventajas

Where should one start: - For starter, I applied to a job and spoke the hiring manager, and then nothing. It has been over a month (and I work for the company in another department). - The Chief People Officer needs professional help. On her first call with the company (the TechTarget follks), she called herself "Ruthless" Ruth. She is in a HR. - The pay is terrible. I think everyone can agree to that. - The disconnect between managers/executives and the people working for them. Honestly, it just seem like Gary does not care about the people in the US. - The Q and A are a joke. They had a company wide meeting yesterday, and it was just management patting themselves on the back.
