This was a hard question as I didn't know if i should focus on things affecting the quality of signal or the signal itself. I froze, focused on the first one and came up with motion artefacts and sweat and finger swelling i guess. Menos
At first they asked implementing some sort of function with hardware. After that do it with less hardware. After that design on board a state machine recognising some specific series of 0s and 1s.
Finally implementing multiplication of 8 bit numbers with 4 bit multipliers + whatever I needed.
Also they asked about read after write problems to processors and things on computer architecture.
Also they asked me things on my Thesis.
For the first thing I did it by adding the result to register and reuse the hardware. I drew the state machine even though it took me 2x the time it should (anxiety of interview + lack of experience).
For the multiplier I didn't manage to do it as I should but with a hint. Menos
I was asked about what are the features available on an oscilloscope and multimeter and remember how many buttons are there on an average unit and what they did. When I mentioned that i am familiar with power electronics such as buck or boost converters, I was asked to draw a circuit of these converters.
