The key is, since they are taking notes, keep it simple and be honest. The more honest you are and the more simple you answer, the easier the conversation will be to keep up. Also write stuff down. Menos

A group of us were working on a project, one individual wasn't contributing and missing deadlines. We spoke to her as a group (which I was leader of) and explained our concerns. She expressed remorse and said she would do better. She did not, I sent and email telling her she will be removed from our group, she eventually started contributing. Menos
