You’re in a room with three light switches, each of which controls one of three light bulbs in the next room. Your task is to determine which switch controls which bulb. All lights are initially off, and you can't see into one room from the other. You may inspect the room only once. How can you determine which switch is connected to which light bulb?

Call the switches 1, 2 and 3. Leave Switch 1 off. Turn Switch 2 on for five minutes and then turn it off. Turn Switch 3 on. Enter the room. If a bulb is on, it's controlled by Switch 3. Feel the light bulbs for heat. The warm bulb is controlled by Switch 2. The bulb that is off and cold is controlled by Switch 1. Menos

Since I can't see where I can update my comment or respond to this company's allegations that I did not in fact, interview with them, I'll respond here. I have the screenshots of the communications between us to prove I interviewed with Relentless Concepts, but it was lifeline phone service they're selling door to door and via outdoor events (not unlike cable/internet sales, and why I thought of that). I was definitely not informed I'd be interviewing with several other people, and having to sit through their interview processes as well as them sitting through my own. They post positions they're not hiring outside people for, because in their company, everyone must start from the "ground up " (which I have a hard time believing evey higher up in their company started door to door). You need to show them that you are listening. Repeat the key points of what was said. Most of the time the patient will realize you are listening and care about the problem and the behavior changes. Menos
