I recently went through the hiring process for the Trust & Risk team at Whatnot, and it was hands-down the best recruitment experience I’ve had. The process consisted of 5 stages:
1. Initial Screen: With Hannah, who was incredibly polite and set a high bar for the rest of the journey.
2. Technical Test: Challenging but fair.
3. Operational Leadership: Insightful discussion with an international lead.
4. References.
5. Principles Interview: A final deep dive with the Hiring Manager.
The Highlight: Hannah provided detailed, informative emails before every single round, so I never felt in the dark. The interviews felt like genuine two-way conversations rather than rigid tests. If you value transparency and a human-centric approach, Whatnot is the place to be.
