Entrevista
I applied and after I took a online test within 2 hours I got a call inviting me to a tellers group interview the following week. I was a teller in another bank before plus a got a bachelor degree I was very confident! They were 8 more candidates on the group interview and consist in basic questions; where had you work before, why you want to work with us...interview takes around 3 hours since you have to wait for everybody to answer the question, you fill a paper with your availability and desiring pay rate. They told us you will get a call for an 1:1 interview with the service manager at the branch or an email in case you were not selected within 3 days.
I got home and I got an email right away from the recruiter asking more about my availability to work after I answer she calls me back the same day and asking about the pay rate. The told me the can't pay me more than $11.00 ph and I told her that was ok with me as long my hours were guaranty.( I was asking for $12.50 on the application) . After we spoke about the pay she offers me to meet the service manager the following day to meet her and have a 1:1 interview with her. Also the recruiter told me the training will start 1st week of January 2012. At this point I was basically thinking I got hired. ( they offer me pay rate and training start day)
The 1:1 interview took around 40 minutes plus and I had to wait for her since she was interviewing another candidate. The interview was very easy for me since I was a teller before we spoke about benefits and she wasn't very exiting talking about them since she was a former employee from Wachovia she told they had better benefits before (very unprofessional from her to say that). She told me she was going to go on a Christmas vacationthat day and I will heard from her on 12/16 when she comes back to let me know the training start day and the next steps of the recruiting process. After 3 days after 12/16 I decided to email the recruiter that told me about my pay rate and sent me to the 1:! interview asking her that I was waiting for the service manager to ger in contact with me after her vacation and if the position still available. They send me a generic email 2 hours later telling me they were moving forward with other candidates...
Very disappointing because I waste 2 weeks that I didn't applied to other jobs thinking that I was selected. my advise: don't get to exited if the same thing happens to you and keep looking for other jobs on the side. I was the most qualify for the position in the interview nobody else worked as a teller before and also have a college degree and full availability to work I understand that's why the offer me a pay rate and sent me to a 1:1 interview within 1 day. Sad the1:1 interview was a joke or I guess she already wanted somebody else for the position. There lose not mine now I got a better job with another bank and closer to my home with better benefits.
Overall the interview is easy if you have experience in a bank or related job before.

My Wells Fargo teller interview was professional and conversational. They asked about customer service, handling cash accurately, teamwork, and difficult situations. I focused on my banking experience, communication skills, and ability to stay organized and calm in fast paced environments while helping customers efficiently.

A 30min interview lasted only half the time with interviewer sounding robotic reading from script. Lack of compassion and human side to it. Interviewer had attitude as if unhappy with the job.
Interview process was quick and straightforward. Staff was polite, but communication could’ve been clearer regarding responsibilities and expectations. Overall, a decent experience, though a bit more organization and detail would improve the candidate experience.
