Initially were very responsive, requesting an interview a day after I applied. Had a 30 minute phone interview that lead to a follow-up interview in office. This is where things started to get weird. At one part of the interview my interviewer seemed to try to sway me away from the position, saying that working in this field might not be the best for my career. When I asked what the salary would be for this position, he jokingly said, "Less than you would like," and didn't elaborate. After sending in some writing samples, I received an informal invitation to join the team, but requested to speak to HR to clarify the salary and position title (it was either an internship or temp position, they never clearly stated). After two weeks of HR dragging their feet, giving me multiple excuses about delayed meetings and whatnot, I received an email saying that the company's needs had changed and they no longer needed someone to fill this position. Overall, it was probably the most unprofessional interview experience I've had.
