Entrevista
Unless you are white, no need apply.
I went through 4 interviews and got turned down each time even through I was perfectly prepared and covered the lesson content exactly as instructed by the company (covered all the objectives, used rewards, used props, and corrected every mistake) My friend who is blonde got the job on the first go, her "classroom" was a blank wall, she had no headset, and used one prop (a picture printed out from the internet). I decorated my classroom, went over the PowerPoint probably a hundred times, had props prepared for every learning objective, came up with an engaging reward system, bought a good headset, but all to no avail.
The feedback I got back each time was literally copy pasted from the feedback I had gotten the time before. I went through their coaching, read all the materials, and like I said did the interview 4 times. I have read from multiple people online that the students and parents tend to favor white teachers and one student explicitly wrote that he didn't like black teachers.
Race and/or ethnicity play no role in the recruitment and screening process. We have a very diverse community of teachers. You are welcome to email us at teachvip@vipkid.com.cn if you have further questions.

just a quick demo lesson following the course materials, then a few logistical questions and talk about the program. Was quite quick and easy overall if you have teaching experience..
Pretty simple! There was a live and recorded portion where you "teach" a sample class. My interviewer was nice and helpful. Make sure your internet is good and use a wired connection
Easy and straight forward interview process. There is a demo teaching section. This was a while ago so it may have changed. The onboarding process was also easy. Again, this was a while ago, so it may have changed.
