Entrevista
The interview process has been changing a lot lately. In August 2017, I turned in my very basic application. I found out that my application had been approved and I chose a time for an interview. Before the interview, I went over training materials on the site. I had a brief interview with a Chinese woman (with a heavy accent) in a call center. She asked me basic questions about my work experience, then I taught a short lesson that I had prepared for beforehand. She told me during the interview that I passed to the next stage (this does not mean you're hired). I was also told what my base pay would be. Next, I taught a mock class. I was given material to prepare for it and again scheduled my own mock class time. Mock 1 consists of two sections of teaching. I chatted with the Mock Class Mentor then taught the first lesson for a few minutes. She gave me some feedback on my teaching, then I taught part of the second lesson. I got my score in an email almost immediately and found out that I had passed and didn't need to do the Mock 2 class.
just a quick demo lesson following the course materials, then a few logistical questions and talk about the program. Was quite quick and easy overall if you have teaching experience..
Pretty simple! There was a live and recorded portion where you "teach" a sample class. My interviewer was nice and helpful. Make sure your internet is good and use a wired connection
Easy and straight forward interview process. There is a demo teaching section. This was a while ago so it may have changed. The onboarding process was also easy. Again, this was a while ago, so it may have changed.
