I am a graduate school student In university of Southern California. And my major is analytics. As a transfer student from university of San diego. I had an interview to access University of Southern California graduated school Which is a video interview.

Have to meet with the Dean and Associate director for a one on one interview. Then meet with group advisors for a group interview. Finish with a 15 minute presentation.

Screening followed by two interviews. The first screening was a phone call, the first interview was a zoom call with the recruiter team and the third interview was with the site director.

I was asked brief questions about my educational background and availability. I also answered the question of why would I apply for this position, and my five years long-term goal.

no interview. just based on application which is pretty vigorous and test score( physics gre and general gre), college grades, research experience and recommendation letter. For other fields this may vary though but this is usually the case in fields like physics. Interviews usually only occur if they need to make sure that youre not "crazy" or something. for lack of better words.

First there was a phone interview and then an in-person interview. The interview was straight forward. They went over a series of situational questions and then asked if I had questions for them.

Brief introductions, interviewer asked about past research experience and technical lab skills, inquired about skills listed on resume, future plans and visions for my career. Was very quick and to the point, also very efficient.

I applied to their IAM Administrator opening through their website. Their recruiter reached out to me the next day to set up a phone interview. The phone interview is very basic like going over your skills, experience, goals, what USC has to offer and etc. I passed the phone screening so next is meeting with someone from the team. This was a virtual interview and it was basically just about talking about yourself to see if you would be a good fit for the team. I was also told here that for this role, there 6 rounds of interview. There no technical questions here because that is saved for the next round with the main people of the team. The third interview was a panel virtual interview where you'll have to introduce yourself again and everyone else introduce themselves. They will also ask you technical questions here about Active Directory, SSL certificates, how would you enforce certain security, are you familiar with salesforce and etc. The forth interview is on-site and meeting the team to basically do the same thing again if asked. After I did the forth interview, I never heard back from them again and I didn't try to reach out because throughout the whole process since the beginning the communication was excellent. The recruiter I talked to would tell me if I advance to the next round within like 2 days of the interview. But this time since it been 3 weeks and I haven't heard anything, I figure they wanted someone else if I didn't hear back. It's not the best way to treat someone but it is what it is. They have good perks if you join the institution and will let you work from home on certain days if needed. Since I didn't hear back and we never went over salary, I took another offer that is closer to me and pays very well.

Currently holding phone interviews for positions. Interview was very professional and informative regarding the position. Unfortunately, it was not a good fit, but they were communicative and did not leaving me waiting a long time for a response post interview.

Lengthy 3 round interview. Asked applicants to read and discuss a 24 page article for first round. Asked applicants to design and give a presentation for second round. Only gave applicants 3 days to prepare. Not very communicative.
