Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Uber (San Francisco, CA) en jul 2015
Entrevista
Started out with a conversation with the recruiter, who then sent out a take-home test to be returned in a week. The test wasn't too hard, one question tested SQL ability, another tested product sense (what metrics would you consider, etc) and the third involved building a predictive model (any programming language accepted). The follow-up was then a conversation about the role with the data science lead, along with some simple product sense questions. If this goes well, you're invited for an on-site with 5/6 members of your team. Impress them and then congratulations, the offer is yours!

What metrics would you use to track whether Uber's strategy of using paid advertising to acquire customers works? How would you then figure out an acceptable cost of customer acquisition?

My interview started with a stats coding round where I was asked to code for expected value for a problem and the second interview was a case study which was quite easy

Expected value for a dice problem and a case study about a Uber problem
The process was smooth and well organized. A recruiter initially reached out, followed by a first round consisting of two interviews—one with the team manager and another with a data scientist, both engaging and informative.
Failed at technical screening round. Recruiter told me I will be tested on SQL, but I got tested on Python as well. Did not prepare well for that interview and didn't get moved forward
