Entrevista
I applied online by sending the company my resume. A friendly person contacted me by the next day, they said they really liked my resume and I had experience they were looking for, asked me a couple of questions and then invited me in to an interview with the management team. She was very professional and knowledgeable about the company and my resume, I could tell she wasn't just cold calling me because she referenced my resume and asked for details about my experience. I went in for the interview with the manager and filled out an actual application. The manager reviewed it and brought me into their office and asked me more questions that were detailed about what I was looking for in a position and what the company had to offer. After that I received call back about an on site interview with another manager, I was very excited and curious to see what that was all about. I got to the event and they described the position professionally and thoroughly. They also answered all of my questions (I had a lot of them!). I was asked to come in for a third and final interview, the same original manager went over my experience at the event, asked me what I learned, and then made sure I understood the pay thoroughly, what my duties would be, and what the growth projection would be. Overall I had a lot of fun with the interview process, yes it was thorough with three rounds but I feel like I was fairly considered as a candidate and there was no smoke and mirrors. Everything was laid out quickly and I know what I am getting into. I got the call back today and after discussing with family decided it was a great fit to get my foot in the door with a company and to grow with, I am excited to start soon!

The interviewer did not ask much about my experience and assumed to know the answers and crossed stuff off my resume without asking me... like so you don't work for them anymore in reference to a job in Texas that I actually do still work for, but she crossed a line through it on my resume without letting me explain that I am in fact still in the roster because I travel back there for family occasionally. I felt the interviewer was threatened that I had more promotions and marketing experience then her by looking at my resume so wrote me off without even giving me the opportunity to sell my self. I know it was an entry level position but she could of also encouraged me to apply for other managerial positions as well. As requested I brought recommendations including a magazine I was featured in as an expert for event planning in the wedding edition which she did not even ask to see or ask what the magazine I had in my hand was. I went in with such excitement to work with this company and after the rushed interview which barely addressed my skill sets or allowed me any opportunity to talk, I felt all they claim to be is misleading. Also, for all the time and energy wasted to apply, set interview appointment, read and reply to confirmation emails, drive there, sit in office for longer then the actual interview was because she was so rushed and just talked about the position rather then asking me what I could bring to it.. the least they could've done is sent a follow up email thanking me for my time or some explanation why I was not a fit for the position. This was the worst interview experience I have ever participated in and I have been in many interviews!

If I have a car to travel to the stores, how soon I would be available... when I've faced a problem in the work environment, what have I done to overcome it was the extent of work related questions. Mostly she just talked.
