      This was for a promotional opportunity. I had been developing for the next step and had interviews set up. I went through a lot of prep (not really needed, but I agreed to it to keep the boss happy). Then the District Team Leader set up interviews with different Group leaders. My interview was with two of them. It was the standard 4 questions where I had to give the situation, my actions, and the result. Your success almost depends more on how you answer the question than the situation you give. I made it through and was told that I was placed on the "bench" for ETL-AP a week later. It took 5 months to have a position open up before I could take it.

      interviewed with Recruiter on the phone. Next step is in person interview with the Business partner(district manager)and Store manager. I felt the interview went really well. They interviewed me very fast about 15-20 min. Either they made it fast, because they already had someone lined up for the position, or they they did not like something about me right away.

      Received email from regional recruiter. Responded back and had informal interview same day. Set a formal interview for the following week. In person interview with store manager and Asset Protection Business Partner 2 weeks later, had avery positive experience and was forwarded to final interview with Regional Asset Protection Director and District Store Manager. Was very positive and seemed to go well. I did not hear anything for over a month. Sent emails and phone calls but no one responded. Come to find out position was filled by a lateral. Thought it was very unprofessional not to hear anything, whether positive or negative

      Had the typical HR Phone chat to see if they wanted to move forward with in person interviews. Had a total of two in person interviews and one more phone interview. All interviews were basically the same; “Tell me about a time........” behavioral based questions
