Interviewee beware. I intereviewed with sychrony financial in February 2017. What a terrible experience. I applied online and then received a phone screen a few days later. After successfully passing the phone screen I was scheduled for on onsite interview. The staff at sychrony financial is not dressed professionally. They are all wearing jeans and sweat pants. My first impression of the place was upset by this. I was called back after the interviewers walked back and forth in the lobby. They do this before to see if you are paying attention. I had an fifty minute long interview. The hiring manager was not helpful. The questions are behavioral based. In the end I received the "thanks but no thanks email". For thirteen dollars an hour I would rather walk dogs than work there.
