1. Interview with the owner and the manager Pretty standard interview, the owner sounded a little bit arrogant sometimes, but I generally don't judge as first impressions may be wrong. 2. Code questions with one of the devs. Super relaxed chat with one of their senior devs. The guy was very knowledgeable and gentle. 3. Paid take-home test. This is where I dropped the interview. They asked for a full-blown application with multiple features and both front-end and back-end deployed on a specific cloud provider. The test was supposed to be completed for a whole month, and the hourly rate was much lower than what I asked for in our initial conversation. This practice shows disrespect and a lack of empathy for the candidate.
