I got an email for an initial phone interview about 8 hours after filling out the online job app, which made for a fantastic response time! The interviewer was AWFUL! I had done my research on the company, and I was expecting the interviewer to talk about the company, but nothing! To get my bearings straight, I asked her an initial question to help me understand more about the company's business model so I could fit my experience into their business model. Instead of answering my simple question, she went on reading a script that explained the hiring process. She was more interested in attending a meeting she had yet to get ready for, and not so much interest in my skills, accomplishment, and contributions to previous employers and possibly to the Sofi.
