The interview process was lengthy, drawn out, and a waste of time. There was a very short period of time that someone could apply for this position. Then you were prompted to take a psych evaluation - this evaluation was anywhere between 30 min - 90 min and it was unnecessarily lengthy. You moved onto the second portion fairly quickly if you passed the psych evaluation. The second half was another test that put you through simulations, scenarios, and math questions - again, lengthy. All of this took dedicated time and effort, but NO ONE contacted me and I had absolutely NO INTERACTION with a single Human Resources representative. It almost made it feel fake and like a simulation. This whole process was completed back in March of this year and I was told to wait to hear for physical interview windows. I finally received an email today (now in August) that they will no longer be conducting interviews until early 2025 - ridiculous. It is a shame, because the Socal Gas Co. is a very reputable company to work for and I expected more professionalism.

Since it is Covid, the test instructions were emailed to me. I took part in one test and I am waiting for the results. I was really nervous to the point of shaking. If I would have been able to relax I am sure I would have done better.
