I felt like I had a good understanding of the job. 10 days after my second interview I hadn't heard anything so I emailed the recruiter, which prompted a call from another recruiter to inform me they went with someone else because they had, "video editing skills." Never once was this skill mentioned in the job description or in over 2 hours of interviewing. I was surprised to hear that was a skill they wanted (I have many years of video editing experience that I didn't highlight because it was never mentioned as a desired skill). The recruiters here don't know what they're looking for and will waste your time getting you into an interview for a position that you aren't prepared for because they didn't correctly describe the job in their job posting.
