They don’t care about their candidates. I interviewed with 9 people total, including VP, and had to do a project that took over 4 hours to complete. I followed up a week and a half after the final interview and didn’t receive a response. I followed up again after that, still no response. If they’re going to require such a large time investment from candidates, the least they could do is send a one sentence response politely letting a candidate know they moved onto other candidates. Very disappointing way to end an interview process. I’ll ensure to let others know not to waste their time.
I interviewed with Shipt recently for a Brand & Product Marketing Manager role. Shipt’s Product Marketing Team appeared to be a bit of a mess. When interviewing with two of the other managers, they weren’t able to answer any basic level product related questions and danced around questions. I looked at their LinkedIn profiles afterwards and saw their brief time in their position at Shipt was their first ever experience in product marketing, only ever having done brand or creative marketing before, which was prevalent. I ultimately received another offer at a different company and pulled out of the process. Overall everyone was friendly, but I saw a few red flags through the process in regard to the team, which they appeared to be oblivious to.
