Entrevista
Internal contractor hire -- very painless:
(1) Phone interview with recruiter
(2) In-person interview with 8 future teammates and 1 director
Then, after a few conversations with the recruiter, I was given a tentative verbal offer but the pay band was well below my experience level. We negotiated and were able to meet in at an acceptable compensation package that included bonus and stocks (vested over 4 years.)
Total 4 Rounds, 1 - Technical, 2 - Managerial, 3 - HM, 4 - Process
Real time experience based questions.
Very structured and well defined interview processes...Took overall 2 weeks to close on the interview process...

Explain to me how your background matches with how you understand the job description
Standard process of phone screen with recruiter asking qualifying questions and then explaining the process moving forward. Moved on to video interview with hiring manager going into more detail on background and asking technical questions to understand knowledge and methodologies. Interviews went well and hiring manager said recruiter would be in touch. I reached out after a few days to follow up but received no response. I understand if they found another candidate, but have the professionalism to let candidates know they're moving on with others.
