HM Screen -> PM 1:1 -> Technical Solutions Architect 1:1
A mixture of behavioral and technical knowledge (role was focused on Agentforce). HM screen was fair with mostly conversation on the behavioral examples, and some quick checks on whether I worked on various things from data cleanup to model distillation. The second PM screen was awkward and interviewer didn't seem very clear on the scope of the role and had a hard time focusing or understanding context outside of the interviewer's area. The last interview with the Technical Architect was mostly a conversation around strategy which was out of scope per that person's background which was just solutioning. The interviewers don't seem very organized and aligned to what they are best calibrated to understand. This is very much neither the structured interview or clear expectations of a Google or Meta interview.

The Recruiter reached out to me to have a discovery conversation and said in the email I was not a fit for the specific role I applied to. I really appreciated this transparency and the opportunity to still have a telephone conversation with the Recruiter. We had a great conversation and she provided me insight to the roles she is working on and that she would be sending my information to other hiring managers she supports and will reach out if there will be next steps. I did not think I would ever hear from her again and that she was letting me down easy but she followed up prior to Thanksgiving that she would be setting up a call with a hiring manager if I was interested in the open position. I spoke to the hiring manager and had a great conversation! When I followed up about next steps I was informed my recruiter took an internal position and would connect me with another recruiter. Sadly when I heard back from the other recruiter (after I followed up 2x) the position was filled. My advice here is do not be scared to follow up as positions get filled quick it seems. Also, I hope all recruiters in the future have the level of detail and empathy as this recruiter did. Salesforce is lucky she is staying at the company! I hope she trains her replacement and that I have a better experience being passed around in the future.

Overall, it was a well-run and structured process. Welcoming interview panel. Most importantly, my interviewer Claire was a power recruiter always staying on top, transparent and moving things along.
The process consisted of: Technical Screen, First onsites incl. Presentation, Second onsites, chat with CPO, and Offer
