Went to two interviews before I was offered the position. Interview process was more of a conversation. It was not a STAR interview and did not make me pull examples from my past to see how I would handle the same situation in the future. Things change with time, people change with time. The way I did things back then may have been the best way at that time, but may not be the best way to do it now. Personally, I think you get a better understanding of personality, character and skill when you ask a candidate "what would you do?" I think the STAR interview focuses too much on memory and candid answers. It takes away from the essence of the interview, finding the right person for the job.

Booked the appointment for a morning call. The information about the company and pay rate went well and I had a few questions about the company. Person told that I would be notified by this week. No one has responded after 48 hours. I will call again but I will not bother to contact this organization if they do not value time management to alert if the position is no longer available or selected someone else in haste. I'm not interested in a disorganized firm that can't respond after verball agreement to communicate the situation at hand.

How does your experience match this job? What do you plan to do after working with our team?
Started off great, however certain upper management individuals think very highly of themselves. This individual kept asking the same question even though I already answered numerous times. This individual would also ask questions unrelated to the position being interviewed for.

5 interviews, overall pretty fair, the first is just a chat, second is a phone interview, third a video call, fourth in person (before covid), and last is another phone call.
