      Entrevista

I was really excited about this opportunity but it turns out it was too good to be true. I had 2 phone interviews that both went well and good questions were asked. I was then invited for an onsite interview that consisted of 3 one hour interviews with 2 people in each interview. The first round I enjoyed and learned a lot about the position and the company. Then came the next round which is where it went downhill... I was first given a tour of the office which was nice. As we went around I was shocked at the complete silence and lack of energy with the amount of people sitting on one big open floor (this was after 10 am and there must've been at least 50 people or so). I really started getting a weird vibe about the place but didn't think too much into it at the time. We then went back to the conference room and what seemed like a harmless question from a HR leader turned into an interrogation. My answer was simple which is fine to dig into but her demeanor was unacceptable. The body language and tone she was using came off very aggressive and I became extremely uncomfortable. I tried to explain my thoughts but she wasn't accepting any part of my answer. It concerned me she was a big influence on the culture of the company. The next interview round was good but my enthusiasm for the role was gone. Also, the pay was very low and not competitive with other tech companies in the area. I left knowing I didn't get the job but thought if I was offered I probably wouldn't accept. I heard back from the HR leader the next week claiming she has tried calling me (I had one random number call an hour earlier and never received a voicemail in the past week?) and was not extended an offer. My friend who was also interviewing with them had a phone interview set up and she was told they needed to reschedule - no follow up on their end was ever made.

Solicité el puesto a través de una agencia de empleo. El proceso duró 2 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Rover.com (Seattle, WA) en ago 2019

I had a phone screen with the person at Harvey Nash (Agency) and then later that day I had a phone screen with the hiring manager, who would be the person I would report to. I did not meet the hiring manager until my first day on the job which was a few days after the day I had the two screens. It was a very quick process as they were in need of someone immediately.
