during the behavioral phone call, it was mostly recruiter explaining what the internship is and what the experience at riot is like they asked about past internship experience and what i learned from it

Got an interview with the manager. The recruiter said the manager would be going over my experience. The recruiter lied, it was a behavioral interview. The hiring manager implied that I was lying because I got handed some critical work when I was a junior employee at an old job.

1 tech, 2 behavioral. My point of contact took a month and a half after my behavioral to get back to me, at which point they said the spot was filled. The recruiter was very nice and professional, but taking that long to respond when their company policy mentions each interview would be, on average, one week after another - was very unprofessional. I was expecting more from Riot's interview process, but was left mentally taxed and ghosted.

Phone call with recruiter to discuss role and experience. Recruiter was straight forward but not encouraging. Most of conversation went well but at the very end, he commented on my past experience in a very condescending way. Will not apply again.

This was a tedious process. It's clear they only want people who love gaming to be hired and I was just a requirement for them to interview so they aren't discriminatory. The interviews were dragged out over a month and a half... totaling to 7 hours!!! Insane. This is a company that shoves culture down your throat and feels cult-like. I'm annoyed I didn't tell them to drop me after the first 3 interviews.. I understand wanting to hire the right person, but to expect people to give up 7 hours during their full time jobs for a slim chance of getting the job, is insane. They should offer a gift card or something if they pass on you for wasting 7 hours of your life.

submit, received OA one week after, Hr Screening shortly after OA, 1 tech, 2 cultural rounds. the pace is around one interview per week. waited for 3 weeks after the final round.

My interviewer cancelled on my last minute. When we got to the interview, they seemed very unenthusiastic and just wanted to move on very fast. Hopefully, it was just my interviewer

Got contacted by a recruiter, had an initial interview and then just got ghosted. I sent a follow up and no reply. I don't think this is how you should treat people.

Multi-stage coding challenge with unique questions. Very cool, the coding questions were challenging and interesting and related to what Riot games does (make games) which was very cool and interesting and fun
