Extremely disorganized. The organization didn't know which programs or projects were available and therefore couldn't evaluate candidates based on their ability to do the job. The process lacked clarity in what skills or interests they were looking for. I had a 30 minute zoom interview with members of two different teams at RMI. They had no idea what they were supposed to be looking for and clearly didn't review my application details. This would generally be fine, but the application required a detailed cover letter that took significant time to create.
