I went through five interviews: first with a recruiter, then with a manager, followed by two managers, and finally a role play. However, they added a last-minute interview with the newly appointed head of sales. Despite reaching the final stage, I wasn’t offered the role because they felt it was too junior for me—something you’d think would have been identified much earlier to avoid getting my hopes up or wasting time. Additionally, it seems there have been some organisational changes, including one of the managers who interviewed me two weeks ago no longer being at Procore. With all these shifts, I wonder if I dodged a bullet
? That said, I can’t fault the people I dealt with throughout the process; they were friendly and professional.
