Ridiculous experience. The interview process wasted around 7 hours of my time. I went through a technical interview, followed by four technical interviews during a virtual on-site session, and one call with the hiring manager. Two of the interviewers did not show up at the scheduled times, so the meetings had to be rescheduled. After each interview, I received positive feedback indicating that I did well. Following all the interviews, I was informed that the interviewers deemed me a good match for the role and that I would receive an offer, pending approval from the business team.
After waiting for three weeks, I finally received a decision stating that the offer was declined because I have too many years of experience for the level II role. This interview process should never have occurred if my CV did not fit the role, as it resulted in wasting an entire day of my time.
