A recruiter contacted me for several weeks, to schedule a meeting with the local sales manager. Met with the local sales manager and we discussed career experience and the future outlook of my expected career path. Met with sales VP and had a similar conversation with more specifics in my sales process. A third meeting was held with HR, which was a combination of the 2 previous, followed by more HR related discussions (Comp, Benefits, Culture, Work Life Balance, Etc.). Closing meeting was with local sales manager with the discussion of next steps and the job offer, start date, etc.

I am overqualified for the position I had applied to and did not even progress through the phone screen. The recruiter seemed annoyed the second we got on the phone. It was as if I was bothering her, when she had scheduled the call. She proceeded to ask me almost nothing about my nearly decade of relevant work experience in tech sales. Strangest call I've probably ever had with a recruiter.
