i had an initial phone interview with a recruiter at paycom. it was relaxed and easy-going, very informative about paycom’s culture and responsive to my answers and questions. i was updated about the next steps and everything very clearly.

Was approached by a recruiter on LinkedIn, met with them for half an hour via phone and then the hiring manager for about an hour on Zoom. I overall really enjoyed the process and appreciated the straightforward communication around promotions, pay, onboarding, and general expectations as very few companies have that sort of transparency in the hiring process these days. The vibe of the reviews made it seem pretty intense and that aligns with my perception after interviewing. I don't think I would have accepted had I gotten an offer for that reason. However, it seems to be a very rewarding opportunity if you're willing to make that trade-off.
