Well, to be very honest, I am more of a C++ guy and I mentioned it to the interviewer. First round he asked me about TOMCAT, and let me use chatgpt bcz he wants to see If I can able to solve problems on my own. Second interview was scheduled that day only.
Now, amazing thing, 2nd interview starts so, He gave me a 450 lines of code and ask me to go through it. And asked me to find bugs. It was a moderate level of question but there was little to no communication, he turned his mic and camera off and Java was new for me as I was at learning stage. Now after finding 2 bugs (40mins) , he moved on to second question and asked me a medium level string question and I have done it in 7 minutes.
Now conclusion is, I have lots of friends there and I have had their experience for FTE and I found I was the only odd one.
I can talk about this incident with HR but I am letting it go and accepting the fate but, It was not fair at all.
