Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Nuro (San Francisco, CA) en jun 2019
Entrevista
Phone call with recruiter that asked questions about my background. Followed by setting-up a phone screen interview about general programming skills. It was hard to understand the interviewer due to heavy accent.
Recruiter call. Followed by 2 rounds of coding. And then onsite rounds. First round was coding in c++ focussing on object oriented programming, second was coding ML concepts in python

Overall good/neutral. Two tech screening rounds. First round was ML style coding question, quite easy, but needed to find the trick. Interview led me down the wrong path until I realized there was a simpler approach. Not the best experience tbh. Second round was just a talk about my research experience (PhD). Never heard back or received any feedback.
I had the worst interview in my career! Very unprofessional!
Recruiter first reached out to me. Later, I had a knowledge domain phone interview with a junior developer related to DL. The interviewer was very unprofessional, aggressive, not willing to listen and didn’t communicate well. He kept cutting in without letting me finish and repeatedly asked several random irrelevant questions while I was trying to understand what precisely he meant by his confusing questions. The questions were confusing and when asked to clarify, he changed the problem to a different scenario and did not elaborate at all. Instead, he jumped to different questions.
I had interviews with different big companies and different interviewers, but this one was just absolutely waste of time. I’m not sure what was the purpose of the interview, since the interviewer was not listening to the answers at all. He kept asking the same questions which I explained and made me to dump it down to move to the next question.
Nuro: I think it's the best for the company to hire professional employees and assign these interviews to a more senior and knowledgeable person who comprehends the field and its challenges very well and avoid wasting yours and candidate’s time.
