Resume Review, Interview round 1, Round 2, faculty Interview, job offer. First was HR round, Most of the Behavioural questions. Then technical questions, the Subject knowledge was tested. But I was rejected.

This interview was with the UGFTV Program at NYU 1) I did not receive any preparation questions in advance, but that is not unusual. 2) The questions felt as if they were trying to trip me up rather than to get to know me and have a constructive conversation. The overall atmosphere was hostile. 3) Although the questions were scripted for this first interview, with each committee member asking me one question, one of the committee members phrased their question in an overtly ageist manner, upsetting the remainder of the interview for me. I actually reported this faculty member, something I have never felt compelled to do before after an interview.

it was an hour long through zoom. I spoke with the head of the department along with current employees. The interview was casual and just assessed my compatibility with the job offer

Immigration department (assisting with study abroad and international students) - 3 rounds meeting with teams, pretty informal and standard team work questions. No prior experience required. High attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality needed as you’re dealing with passport information.

Many of us can identify the interview as very friendly. Yes, that's true. But even senior leaders do not dress in professional business attire. It is like a small company, an environment that does not show off a corporate culture.

The interview process was very easy and quick. I did one interview and got hired that day. I have tuition assistance that help pays for my masters. highly recommend working at nyu for this benefit.

No interview, submit through application portal. The average gpa for data science program is 3.7, the average GRE score is 325. We need 3 recommendation letters. It is a great program.

The interviewer was nice, asked stuff on my resume and especially prior project experiences. No hard questions. Obviously it seems they pay attention to applicant's personal interest and would prefer those who are more likely to be in the vibe.
