Interviewing process took about 2 months. Everyone was nice. Not sure what else to write on here. I'm writing as many words as I can so I can meet the minimum word count requirements.

Two Rounds, one with manager and peer, second with director. Both virtual. interview was straightforward, not conversational. They didn't expect questions like 'what does success look like' or 'what resources do you provide to have a successful onboarding experience'. They required 5 days in office with very little flexibility. rejection email was automated even though initial email communications were not, unable to get any feedback.

Not specific of the role, or the role is so general, that the description doesn't specify what it actually might entail. The role turned out a lot different from what it was sold as during the interview process

This is a straightforward process. Went through two rounds. No testing component. The job posting can be vague, but you learn more about specific job responsibilities during the interview process.

I applied online via the NYU website. I was contacted a week later via email for an interview. I interviewed on Oct 2019. I was interviewed by the supervisor for the position. There was suppose to be 2 other interviews, one with HR and one other, but I was able to sit down with everyone individually on the first interview. The interview was really conversational, felt really comfortable and easy going. Not a lot of questions, it was more of describing my current position and how my skills could transition into the position in question.

I went through a series of in person interviews (pre pandemic) over the course of about 2 months and did not receive an offer in the end because they decided to hire an alumni over me. The entire process took about 4 months from the application.

Easy interview, but took 3 months before I found out a decision. Even after a reference check it took 1 month before I was told they had picked someone else, and was not even provided with a reason.

I applied online. I got a phone screen by an employee in the department, then was invited for a panel in person interview a week later. It consisted of meeting all the managers of the individual departments who I'd be working for as well as the Dean of the school. I was there for a little over 2 hours and it wasn't too bad because the people seemed really supportive and informative about what they wanted from the position and overall what they were looking for. After the in person interview, I received an online assessment and then they requested to do a background check and contact my references. A little over a week later they called and offered me the job, however I accepted another job in another department because I believed it would better fit my long term goals. It was a great experience though and the hiring process was fast compared to everything I've heard about NYU's normal process.

I applied online through their website. An HR person contacted me via email one week later. My interview was scheduled for the following week. I was interviewed by two individuals from the HR of the department I was applying for. They were nice enough, and they asked very generic interview questions (nothing tricky), but I could very much sense that they had another candidate who they felt was more qualified. Interview was easy in terms of the questions they asked, but these roles are very competitive, so I think their decision ultimately comes down to objective qualifications rather than interview performance. It took another five weeks before I was officially rejected from the position, which I found a bit unprofessional for such a prestigious institution, but I understand they they deal with a high volume of applicants so I suppose it's to be expected. The time between submitting my app and my rejection from the position was 2 months.

As I was abroad when I first applied, my first interview was a Skype interview. It went really well and when I was back in the US I was asked to come for an in person interview which was a two hour session involving meeting with HR, three separate interviews with various staff members, and then a writing sample.
