The hiring process has 4 parts. First, an online application with the assessment and personality test. Second, a face to face interview with the Business Development Officer to go over the basics like any other interview, but be prepared to explain your business plan for succeeding at MSSB in depth (target markets, professional networks, seminars, groups, etc). If you impress him, the third step is completing an online version of your business plan on a template they send to you via email. After sending the finished product back to corporate, they will see if they are impressed. If so, you have one last meeting face to face with the branch or complex manager and his job is simply to make the offer to you.

The overall interview process is not extremely difficult. Meeting with the a manager and maybe another senior advisor whom is involved with the hiring process. Detailed business plan to prepare. More on showing them how you can succeed at the job. It would probably be two to three interviews before actual consideration.

Entrevista
Starts off with a 30 min aptitude test followed by a 1-2 hour simulation of being an advisor in LA. This is followed by a 30 min hireview and 3 more tests if selected to move forward. At the end of the hireview you receive an email saying someone will be in touch and nobody contacted me. Had to check my status of the application through the applicant portal to find out I was no longer under consideration. Nothing out of the ordinary in the process except for the fact that I didn't get to speak to a single person throughout it and that is not very professional in my opinion.

Inept as inept can be. Couldn’t describe the job responsibilities effectively. It felt scummy the whole entire process. I would avoid at all costs. Heard bad things about this place.
