I was contacted by their internal recruiter. She explained me the process and mentioned that they provide feedback pretty quickly.
In total there are 7 rounds.
1st recruiter screening
2nd is with the director/hiring manager
3rd is a code review exercise
4th is system design and project management related
5th and 6th is with other leads mostly cultural interview
7th is meet the team and hiring manager
Honestly the process is unnecessarily long. I spent 5.5-6 hrs with them.
They NEVER provide feedback.
Reason I received was: "You're great we don't have any reason for you now, however we're not moving forward. We'll get back to you with the feedback."
They never responded back to emails.
Cultural interview. You've to hire one person in your team and all the candidates have passed technical rounds. What would be your strategy if both candidates are similar. One is a female the other is male?
With a follow-up question about why I would not give a higher preference to the female?
