I was referred by a friend of a friend for a phone interview with the hiring manager. The manager proved knowledgeable about e-commerce systems and though concerned that I haven’t worked in over a year, was still interested in my level of experience and history in the industry. They have subsequently promised to schedule me for a second phone interview with one of the company executives.
