My interview experience with Liberty Mutual was unusually lengthy, spanning nearly three months (May 8–July 25), with at least two weeks between each round. The process included an initial recruiter sync, a hiring manager interview, a panel interview with direct reports, and finally an intense 60-minute Q&A session with potential counterparts. Interviewers were well-prepared and thorough, but scheduling was extremely slow, with minimal communication from the recruiter and long waits between updates. Despite performing strongly, I was not offered the role, which was surprising given the positive interactions. Overall, the quality of interviews was good, but the scheduling and delays made this by far the most frustrating and drawn-out interview experience I've had.
