TL;DR: Interviews took over the course of several months. I was constantly chasing HR & hiring manager for next steps. Role was filled upon interviewing. HR experience felt demeaning. I interviewed for senior role but KPMG tried to hire me for very junior role. Non-TL;DR: I accepted an interview over 2 months ago for a management position with KPMG. Over the course of several weeks, I met with recruiting and the hiring manager to which they stated the role was filled prior to me interviewing. Few weeks wasted there.. They then had me meet with several other managers for other roles which seemed to have been filled immediately after my interview. Few more weeks wasted there.. After roughly 2 months of multiple meetings & interviews, the group had attempted to bring me into the organization at a junior role. After I stated this was unacceptable, HR dove into my experience stating that despite being a VP at multiple organizations that my experience is only equivalent to this very junior role. Odd.. After denying the junior position, the company then followed up saying no roles are open to me. Bit of a "It's you, not me" kind of feel to it.. All in all, unpleasant experience and not even an apology given by the organization.

Interview includes a: One Case study 2 Director interviews, technical interviews 1 Partner interview, mostly general discussions about market and “what do you like about what we do” and general soft skills
