I cannot speak beyond the first step in this company's interview process as my experience with it is still recent and I have not been invited into the next phase yet. The website claims the hiring process can take 3-4 weeks. It seems the first step after applying is an electronic interview. Candidates are given two options and 5 days to complete the interview. First option is to record responses using a webcam, smart phone, or tablet. The second option is to do a phone interview. My experience is with the phone interview, but by the wording of the first option ("record responses") I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same as the phone interview, but with a video feed as well as audio. For the phone interview option, it takes about 30-40 minutes to complete, but you are NOT talking with a live person. A computer/auto attendant guides you through the interview telling you when to start speaking, but all the questions are prerecorded from an actual person. It felt like a voice controlled "chat" session that would normally take place on a computer. The interviewer asks the question, there is a pause for you to think about your answer, then you record your answer after a beep, there is another pause, a new question is asked, and so on and so forth. There is no feeling about how good or bad the interview is going, there is no way to know if you need to elaborate on something, or if the interviewer understood your description of past work history. There are no human indicators of any kind because it is all prerecorded and you are just recording your answers for someone to listen to at a later time. Obviously, this type of interview is meant to get a basic idea of your ability to fit within the role of the position applied for, but it can feel strange recording answers rather than talking to an actual person.
